Swinging, Weigh In, and Projectile Vomiting

Every now and then Jack likes to spend time in his swing. He has recently also spent a lot of time on his Baby Einstein Activity mat watching a little star light up and play music. It is really cool to watch him become more and more of a person each day.

We are all busy these days. Gina is trying to finish a grant, I am busy with school/work & Jack is busy keeping us busy at home. I have been so jacked up on coffee lately that it has was hard for me to get to sleep last night.

Jack had another well baby check up last Friday. He is still gaining weight great, and he is probably over nine pounds now. The night before last he slept for over four hours, but last night he made up for it by keeping us up most of the night. So once I actually got to sleep, he woke me up needing a change and food.

He has learned a new trick ... projectile vomiting. This in addition to his pee on mommy trick and his ability to break wind like a champ should just about give him enough for a road show. But hey, the little guy is cute so you gotta love him. Jack also seems to have a new friend in our ceiling fan. For some reason, when he is upset he can be calmed down by bouncing him and letting him look at the ceiling fan in our living room. He has also started to lose a lot of the hair that he was born with. It is kind of funny because he is losing the hair on the top of his head in a sort of "male pattern baldness" while the hair on the sides of head seems to be growing a little bit. I know that a baby comb-over would be very funny, but I doubt that Gina will let me do that .... hmm, maybe a baby mullet.

At the very least, I would like to dress him up this Halloween ... any suggestions.
